Conserving energy and making homes and businesses more efficient has never been more important. Energy Auditing is a growing career field in which an auditor evaluates the efficiency of a home or building to assess and implement improvements to increase overall heating and cooling efficiency. WATC now offers a one-week course for students to get all the training and become a certified energy auditor. The state of Kansas is experiencing a growing demand for these auditors, the income potential is high, and it can be done part time.
